Abstract
Some errors were inadvertently caused during production of this paper, for which the publisher apologizes. Sammie Mosier’s credentials are DHA, MA, BSN, NE-BC, and her full title is Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Executive. Also, in the first line of the abstract, “Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) Healthcare” should be “HCA Healthcare.” The correct abstract is as follows: Sammie Mosier is Senior Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive for HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s leading healthcare providers. She directs an agenda to advance nursing practice among 99,000 nurses across 186 hospitals, focused on nurse advocacy, clinical excellence, and professional development at every level. Dr. Mosier has been with HCA Healthcare for more than 25 years, beginning her career as a medical-surgical nurse and holding progressive leadership roles since then. The online article is corrected to reflect the changes.
